Steadfast Capital GmbH, formerly BHF Private Equity GmbH, was established in 2001 as an independent private equity management business fully owned by its  partners. Steadfast Capital assumed its new name in August 2005 in order more clearly to demonstrate the independence of the fund management activities. The Steadfast Capital brand reflects what we stand for: a steadfast commitment to each equity investment providing it with the support needed for the further development of a successful business.

The first Steadfast Capital fund had a volume of € 305 million and was backed by the Dutch ING group. The second fund, Steadfast Capital Fund II, L.P. was raised by the end of June 2007 with a volume of € 193 million. Steadfast Capital Fund III, L.P. has a volume of € 128 million.
